History
Blue steel pans were originally used for mechanics to place parts in while working in Motor City, aka Detroit. One day someone had the bright idea to put a pizza in one of those pans and the rest is history.
Authenticity
At Bat City Pies we use 100% authentic blue steel pans, which when done right, creates that crunchy cheesy crust you know and crave. Our pizzas are baked to order with scratch dough, with two classic strips of sauce over the top. We take the time to get the little things right giving our pizza a cult like following.

We pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen. Our ingredients are always fresh: from our specialty sauce to scratch made dough and hand prepared toppings. We invite you to taste the difference.

Our Dough
While we can't give you the secret recipe that makes our pizzas so tasty, we can tell you that we make our dough daily, by hand, using the finest ingredients. We're proud of our dough and its what makes our pizza stand out from the crowd.
Our Sauce
Imported Italian tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic slowly roasted in Italian olive oil and a little bit of magic. Our sauce certainly creates a crave worthy experience.
